  3. Responses from Brevard County Health Department to posed questions:
    1. If an EIS client has an RX that is not on their health insurance formulary but on ADAP formulary, they can be enrolled in direct dispense as needed for that RX. However, when enrolled in ACA plan through ADAP support of premium, the client can not be enrolled in Provide with direct dispense as needed for an RX not on the ACA policy formulary. Is there a reason for this or should the coordinators reach out through a help ticket.
      1. Clients enrolled in an ACA/Marketplace plan with premium/copay assistance through ADAP can also receive RXs through direct dispense for RXs not on health insurance formulary. The client will receive an “Uninsured Prescription Benefit Card” to use for these RX fills. The client must fill the prescription at a pharmacy on the Magellan network.
    2. If a client owes the IRS money, would they still be eligible for an APTC?
      1. Yes, they will still qualify for an APTC if they owe the IRS. If a client received an APTC and didn't file for that year or hasn't filed in years and received an APTC in the past, then the IRS will not let them get another APTC If they catch it.
